Foodie Review: Ootong and Lincoln

Another cute and quirky place to eat in one of my favourite places in WA. I must say, regardless of whether you go for morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea or a light dinner, Ootong and Lincoln have you covered.

Ootong and Lincoln are located in South Fremantle and you literally can't miss it with their interesting seating decor that has been recycled and refurbished and that it expands all the way to the footpath.

I shared my dish with mum because you do get quite a bit for what you ask, which I think is great sometimes. We ordered the Smushed Avo on chia barter bread that came with a poached egg, roasted tomato, crests and sunflower seeds. To drink, we had a fresh watermelon juice served in a small pitcher and coffee.

Price: Not cheap eats. As a student this would be considered a treat.

Atmosphere: Relaxed and homely

Style: Old, quirky and recycled

Service: Quite possibly the fastest service I've ever received and very friendly staff

Again, another place that actually serves food on a proper plate! I'm sick of being served food on chopping boards and weird looking plates that barely hold a meal on it. Tables outside appeared a little wonky and could possibly be a few inches longer but nonetheless, our meals didn't fall off the table.

When you've got a little more money handy, definitely swing by and treat yo' self here. It isn't just a vegan/ vegetarian place because they do serve things like pulled pork, bacon and more so it's definitely a place where you can take people of all different tastebuds and preferences.

Rating: 4/5.
