Featuring:

Season Four of Love Child pushes through to the year 1972, introducing new patients in Stanton House and saying goodbye to others from pervious seasons. In this final season, issues such as family abuse, adultery and loss arise and ultimately shape the future for each character.
There was a great deal of urgency surrounding this last chapter which ended up making kind of a mess in terms of how the rest of the season would play out. Originally there were plans for a fifth season, however this never came to be. So the final product that we're left with seems somewhat finalised but not very immaculate. Thinking about it now, a fifth season would actually drag everything out and would probably leave directors and cast members without a steady creative flow that further adds to the rush of this season.
This show wasn't all that bad. Yes, it did have its problems and it is far from a masterpiece of a television series but it offers some entertainment. Easily something you could just put on at the end of a busy day, not something that really gets you emotionally invested.
Program score: 6.3/10.
